On February 14, 2025, while many celebrated Valentine’s Day with flowers and chocolates, Padded Life Foundation chose to mark the occasion with a deeper, more impactful expression of love—educating, equipping, and empowering young girls.
At St. Anne’s School in Ibadan, we gathered with students, teachers, and volunteers for a transformative event aimed at addressing menstrual health awareness and period poverty, two pressing challenges faced by many young girls in Nigeria. With the theme "Educate, Equip & Empower," the event was designed to provide essential knowledge, practical resources, and inspiration to ensure that no girl is held back by her period.
